The Quarry House, located in a historic area of Blue Hill known for granite quarrying in the early-to-mid nineteenth century, offers its guests an elegant getaway surrounded by nature's beauty. The house, heated by solar panels, has a backup generator and Tesla battery storage system, allowing for continuous power during extended cloudy weather. Suitable for up to 4 people, it has one queen bedroom on the main floor and a pull-out sofa in the loft, as well as a TV and desk, accessed by a spiral staircase. Originally designed for the owner to retreat and write his memoirs, all will enjoy the tranquility that the house and surroundings offer. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, the house includes a washer, dryer, and outdoor shower. It rents weekly from June through October, with Friday turnovers. Pets cannot be accommodated. Not suitable for young children due to granite landscape and water-filled quarry on the property.
