Situated in the historic part of Blue Hill known for granite quarrying in the early-to-mid nineteenth century, it's an excellent choice for writers, artists, and remote worker.  Suitable for a single person or couple, it has one bedroom with a queen bed and a comfortable pull-out sofa in the loft, as well as a TV and inspiring desk area, accessed by an easy-to-navigate spiral staircase. This property is best suited for a couple, or single person, but not children, due to the prevalence of granite terrain and nearby water.  The house, delightfully and tastefully furnished, has a woodstove in the living room and Rinnai heaters in the bedroom and loft, and includes a washer and dryer.  It rents monthly from October thru May and weekly during the summer months.  Pets cannot be accommodated.
