It was a lovely time

This location was perfect, out of the way and on the Reach. The changing seas, sunrises and sunsets and access to some good hiking made this a great respite. Note that the cabin has s separate building with a queen bedroom and lavatory (just across the deck from the main quarters. This is more camp than cottage and that was great. Walking access to shared beaches worked out. Reading, or just watching the sea from the deck or living room was great. It's a fair drive from Blue Hill (15 minutes) but central to Brooklin, Deer Isle and Booksville.

A gem and truly magical place!

A gem and truly magical place! Amazing to see the ocean, it's tides and wildlife every day. Our family was thrilled to see porpoises, bald eagles, and harbor seals! Great location. Quiet but close to amazing hikes within walking distance or a short drive. Also great for exploring Acadia - we spent a couple days up there and the hour drive wasn't bad. Ted, Brenda and Chelsea left special local treats and covid supplies - a thoughtful and much appreciated touch. It's a summer cottage so a little drafty but still cozy. My family loved it and will definitely be back.

Will definitely be back soon...

Lovely small cottage on Eggemoggin Reach with very nice frontage. Convenient to all of the highlights of the Blue Hill peninsula and Deer Isle. The host is very generous and thoughtful. We have stayed here 3 times and will definitely be back soon.

Great stay!

This is a great spot for anyone who wants to experience the best of Maine on the Blue Hill peninsula. The rental is very well appointed, the owner and manager were very attentive and checked in frequently and the location is spectacular. If you want to walk a few steps to the water or watch eagles, ospreys, cormorants and seals from the deck, this is the place. From the easy check-in to the follow-ups, I felt like a guest, not a renter, and that is rare indeed.
